Peter Haslam

Peter has been at the helm of Neville Newcomb Insurance Brokers for the past 25 years, following the merger with his own firm, Akarana Insurance Ltd. He has dedicated his working life to insurance, experiencing all facets of the industry at different times of his career. However as at 2023 he sold his share holding as the main Director at Neville Newcomb Insurance Brokers Ltd, to focus solely on his long standing client list.

Fire and general insurance is Peter’s specialism although he has a comprehensive knowledge of the market in most areas. His expertise in tailoring the correct insurance for every client has proved invaluable over the years.

For Peter, job satisfaction is at its best when claims are settled. In many cases settlements exceed client expectations - those are the great days.
